We are offering this extremely limited-edition T in celebration of a show that almost was. That means this shirt is available for 48 hours only!
The story goes like this - In the late summer of 1986, The Circle Jerks were invited to open for Run DMC at the Hollywood Palladium. It would have the band’s first appearance at the historic venue. Unfortunately, tragedy struck the night before at the Long Beach Arena when gang members swarmed the show leading to the stabbing of 42 people. Fearing more gang violence would occur, the promoters of the Palladium show pulled the plug. Not only did this end up denying Keith Morris and company a night on the Palladium stage it led to the Circle Jerks being banned from the Pallidum for many years after. “They just assumed we were wrapped up in all this gang violence. We weren’t violent, RUN DMC weren’t violent people, but because of what happened in Long Beach we were banned from the Palladium for years,” says Morris. That show may have never happened but this limited-edition shirt featuring the flyer Keith Morris designed for the show is happening now.
